This Palm program will walk a physician, student, or resident through algorithms for the diagnosis of DVT and PE. Each starts with the Wells clinical criteria and then applies testing algorithm(s) to evaluate for the presence of DVT or PE. For PE the user is offered two different protocols depending on whether one has available CT or VQ & Sono for imaging. Feedback on my implementation is welcomed! --JSt
Version 1.1: adds simple additional functionality for better user interaction (it adds up Wells scores and remembers them for you now; I learned a few new programming tricks), but the clinical content is the same. |
