Description of Resource
This is a suite of resources to aid family medicine faculty in teaching perineal laceration repair, including second, third, and fourth degree lacerations. It does not include peri-urethral lacerations or cervial lacerations. It includes two PowerPoint presentations, one geared to the instructor and one to use in a teaching session. It also includes two Word documents, one an instructor's guide and the other a resident's handout. Included in both is a skill checklist to be used with the teaching session. The goal for the curriculum is that learners will be better able to complete repair of perineal lacerations on completion of the session.
