Description of Resource
|
| |
This curriculum was designed to teach residents a broad range of medical and procedural skills incorporating medical simulation into the three year residency curriculum. Critical care, neonatal and surgical skills are emphasized due to their inherently low volume and high risk nature and because they are well suited to simulation-based teaching. Medical simulation is also an ideal format to incorporate the concept of competency-based teaching and evaluation. Simulators used for this curriculum are the Meti Human Patient Simulator, Immersion Endoscopy Simulator and Laerdal Code Blue Baby Simulator. |
